TOPSHOP Unveiled Cara Delevingne As The Next Topshop's FW14 Campaign Girl

TOPSHOP x Cara Delevingne For FW14 Campaign
TOPSHOP has announced British supermodel Cara Delevingne as the face for its upcoming FW14 campaign. Delevingne is described by TOPSHOP's very own creative director Kate Phelan as "a true TOPSHOP girl" where her style is "confident and playful" yet can also be "sophisticated and chic".

The campaign was shot in London by photographer Alasdair McLellan and styled by Kate Phelan. A collection of twelve images of Delevingne in a series of TOPSHOP's essential FW14 pieces is revealed.

The campaign will coincide with a phase of widespread international growth of both TOPSHOP and TOPMAN brands. In addition to five new stores opening in US including a new flagship store in 5th Avenue, more store locations in Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Egypt, New Zealand and Panama are on its way, including one in Richmond B.C Canada coming this October at the Hudson's Bay.

The FW14 TOPSHOP collection will be available at the Hudson's Bay in Canada and thebay.com/topshop from August 2014.

Tabestoon Fest - The Authentic Persian Experience in YYC

Tabestoon Fest 2014
(photos by: Katrina Olson)
Past Saturday in YYC was the perfect weather for the first annual Tabestoon Festival, an outdoor event hosted by the Persian Gulf Foundation at the Olympic Plaza acknowledging contemporary arts and culture of Iran; An exhibition that unites the Iranian community who are living in this city, and introducing its rich history and modern talents to Calgarians. As a cultural lover, it’s great to see an event such as the Tabestoon with so much pride that allows us to learn more about the authentic Persian culture, from the past and present. The event was opened for the public, attracting hundreds of people gathered around the plaza to enjoy a full day of entertainment including music, dance and fashion show. Various tents were set up showcasing traditional Persian treats and crafts for both children and adults. The event had also invited Iranian guests from many different cities, including musicians Ali Azimi’s The Needs and Ajam Band from the UK. For a full review, you can also read the post by Calgary Herald HERE.

Special thanks to Katrina Olson for taking the photos.
