Calgary Stampede x Paul Hardy = The Unique CS Mercantile Pop-Up

Canadian international fashion designer Paul Hardy is giving his creative mind to the Calgary Stampede, launching the first flagship CS Mercantile, an unique pop-up boutique carrying exquisite collections of urban-western style fashion, gifts, accessories, home decor and confectionary. 

The featured collection at CS Mercantile is curated by Paul Hardy, or as he calls it: "Paul Hardy's favorite things (for Calgary Stampede)". His vision of the modern-western lets what seems to be dated and rigid western styles look chic all year round. Instead of being like any conventional western-inspired product, the CS Mercantile collection speaks stories that connect with people from all over the world. You'll find items that are hand-crafted by artisans from different continents half way across the globe and some pieces are even made exclusive to CS Mercantile.

The first impression of the pop-up boutique experience is excitment, given it has a different approach on traditional western classics - it's an experimental idea that brings an edgier flare to Calgary. My personal favorites among Paul's favorite things were the hand-sculpted hand-made soap, western-inspired horse head rings and necklace, the playful Denver's rocket ships cowboy shirts and the revived historic Parisian doctor's turned fashion bag. 
The first wave of CS Mercantile has been opened for business at Paul Hardy's design studio for the past month, and June 28th will be its last day. But don't worry, the official CS Mercantile Stampede launch will begin on July 3rd and throughout the 10-day Stampede celebration on Stampede Ground. The online shopping service will also go live on July 3rd. Don't miss the opportunity to check it out - Oh and if you haven't notice, Binzento had been invited to be a part of the CS Mercantile campaign.
