As we are finally say "good-bye" to the harsh winter here in YYC (well sort of), we are also welcoming spring and summer wardrobe in our closets. Recently, award-winning fashion journalist and Holt Renfrew's VP Fashion Editor Lisa Tant showed us this season's "must-have" looks to stay on trend.
Bold floral print is a no brainer as it continues to dominate and flourish the spring season. Versatility is important - being able to just utilize few primary pieces and mix-and-match them to create multiple different looks. Black and white ensembles may seem too good for those who like to play safe, but subtle details can make a huge difference. Masculinity plays a role like previous seasons. Pairing feminine garments with loose fitted trouser and blazer or coat staging a strong, confident and modern-chic female. "Sporty" looks is another option, but be aware not to suit yourself like you are going for a workout. On the flip side, nude or pale color fabric can create softness which is also perfect for those who chooses more relaxed silhouettes.
