Celebrities and Executives Strut the Catwalk at Holt Renfrew to Benefit Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation
CBC’s Amanda Lang Hosts Third Annual Well Dressed for Spring Fashion Show
Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation hosts the third annual Well Dressed for Spring fashion show and fundraiser in collaboration with Holt Renfrew andWomen in Capital Markets. This special high-end, high-energy evening of fashion, networking, shopping and wine will be emceed by Amanda Lang, senior business correspondent at CBC News, with fashion commentary provided by Lisa Tant, vice president, fashion editor at Holt Renfrew.
Taking place on Monday, Feb. 24 from 7 to 10 p.m. at Holt Renfrew in Toronto (50 Bloor St. W.), the models who will walk the runway are some of the biggest names in finance, fashion and media, all of whom have had a personal connection to cancer. Models include:

Leora Eisen, documentary director and twin sister of the late Linda Lewis, founding editor-in-chief of MORE Canada
Nikki Lewis, student and daughter of the late Linda Lewis.
With the purchase of a $200 ticket, guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, fashion show and $100 Holt Renfrew gift card to spend during the evening’s exclusive private shopping experience.
Last year’s event raised $204,000, with results to date indicating $220,000 to be raised in 2014.
“The Well Dressed for Spring fashion show is the perfect marriage of money, mission and fashion,” says Christina Smith, CEO, Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation. “Each year the event gets bigger and better, and this year promises to be extra special as we pay tribute to one of Wellspring’s dear friends and ambassadors, Linda Lewis. All the funds raised from the show will directly assist the thousands of men, women and children in need of emotional, social, practical and rehabilitative care while on their journey with cancer.”

Wellspring is a network of community-based support centres that offer programs and services to meet the emotional, social, spiritual, practical and rehabilitative needs of people living with any type of cancer, at any stage, and those who care for them. Wellspring, which provides care, free of charge, for more than 3,000 people in the GTA every year, receives no government or other core funding, and is funded exclusively by independent donors and corporate partners.
