Tiffany's 175th Anniversay - The Legacy Of Love

Breakfast at Tiffany's - The Intimate Blogger Diamonds Event
I was honored to be among one of the few bloggers to be invited to Tiffany & Co.'s "Intimate Blogger Breakfast" event last week here in YYC. Even with the bad road condition in the morning due to the snow, it didn't stop us from experiencing the classic Audrey Hepburn "Breakfast at Tiffany's" moment. Our breakfast table was neatly set up upon our arrival. On it were signature Tiffany & Co.'s diamond rings, made with some of the rarest stones in the world, for our viewing pleasure.

This year is the 175th anniversary of the premier jeweler and for this special moment to celebrate its milestone in diamond heritage, Tiffany & Co. debuts Colors of Wonder: The Rarest Diamonds in the World.
The collection is a "marvel of nature", and is truly appreciated by diamond lovers. The colorful stones radiate glamour surrounded by sparkling-white diamonds, each carefully selected by Tiffany's specialists to ensure they meet the high quality standard of Tiffany & Co.. They're elegant, timeless, and stories to be told for generations to come. At the breakfast table, we were given opportunities to try on some of these precious rings. My favorite was the Tiffany Yellow Diamond ring, which displayed the meticulous work of Tiffany craftsman, the clarity and cut was just phenomenal.
Sarah Geddes of Sass Communications and Tiffany & Co. (Chinook Centre) Store Director Elizabeth Hellebrand

Store director Elizabeth Hellebrand explained the histories of Tiffany's diamonds, and how it became the symbol of "true love" and the traditions of engagement rings. The Tiffany Setting engagement ring was introduced in 1886 by founder Charles Lewis Tiffany, who started a trend and soon became a tradition. The engagement ring as we know it today is the creation of Tiffany & Co., the world's diamond authority and jeweler of true love.
Like Sarah Geddes said to me on Twitter: "Who said diamonds are (only) girls' best friend", and she is right - I couldn't get my eyes (and finger) off the Tiffany Soleste ring, which is a cushion modified brilliant diamond encircled a double row of exquisite bead-set diamonds - it's superb. The yellow gold combination revealed the rising trend of utilizing mixed opulent materials, perfect for fashion lovers.
The breakfast was delightful, it was a fun and relaxed way to meet and greet the representatives and learn things that I didn't know before about the diamonds at Tiffany's. Tiffany & Co. generously gave each of the guest a specialized Tiffany & Co. accessory as well as a sterling silver Tiffany & Co. USB stick. Thank you so much for this invite, and of course Sarah Geddes for organizing us to get together. For more info on Tiffany Diamonds, be sure to visit their official website HERE.
