Scottish designer Jonathan Saunder, who has previously collaborated with TOP SHOP and Target, shown in the first London Men's Fashion Week S/S13, is a true color expert. His talent and expertise in printed textiles is evident in this series. Re-engineering the early 90's with dramatic colorful cardigans, skinny stripe suit, and ultra sleek circle sunglasses. Shorts with calf-high socks for men seemingly a current big hit at the fashion week. At a glance, Jonathan Saunder Men S/S13 has created the pop art of fashion this season.

YYC Social Night Life
There were several social mingling events last week and certainly was a party all-out week. Binzento Vincente went to two of them and they were Jeff B. Wilkie Birthday Benefit and Shift Talent VIP Model Mixer.

A birthday party for a charity - What a great and thoughtful idea! Every year on his birthday month, YYC's Jeff B. Wilkie hosts a birthday party (this year's at Belgo) where he welcomes friends and guests from all over the city to join. Instead of gifts, he asks guests for their generousity to donate a minimum of $10 to the charity, Little Warriors, a national charitable organization that helps and protect sexually abused children.
To make it more interesting, he made this year's theme to be MADMAN fashion style. There were also silent auctions, photobooths, best dressed contest and of course DJ music. More than 600 people RSVP'd to this birthday party -a success- especially having people from different industries to connect with. It was a good opportunity to meet new people to network.

Local talent agency Shift hosted their networking party last week as well at YYC Kensington Osteria De Medici. Dorian Dunkley is always such a great host. Having a degree in business and becoming an entrepreneur, she really knows how to tie corporate world with the art and culture community. Shift models, friends, clients and VIP members were all invited to this one night only event to party, dance, and network. Though Binzento Vincente was a lil late to this event, I still had an awesome time. Thank you so much for the invitation!
