Fashion/Music on the Run: Upcoming YYC Fashion Events!

I've been swamped with loads and loads of work these days. That doesn't stop me from blogging though :p. There are so many cool events happening this month in YYC, I am going to take my time here to write about them all. If you want to catch Binzento Vincente, be sure to check out the upcoming events posted below. But first, here are some of the "fashion" love I came across recently.

Casely Hayford
I am really liking Casely Hayford S/S12 collection and is planning to get my buddies from the UK to help me make a couple purchases.

Break the Label by Theodoro De sio
Just bought a "Break the Label" tee by UK tee-shirt designer Teodoro De sio. Going to wear it if I hit the beach at Hilton Head Island again this summer :)

Louis Vuitton

I am loving the Louis Vuitton "Hide and Seek" accessories collection for the S/S12. This gold colour collar will be on my hot item list this season.

I rarely talk about music on my main blog post, but last week on iTunes, I came across a band and their music has been on my mind the entire week! They are the Graffiti6.
Graffiti6 is a pop/rock band found in London in 2008, comprise of vocal/guitarist Jamie Scott and producer/songwriter Tommy D. Graffiti6 proved to be unique with their edgy interpretation of pop/rock music. It sorta reminded me of Mika few years ago, but more solid with the rock taste. I actually came across their music via "download of the week" on iTunes, where it featured the song "Free" from their latest album, "Colours". Check out the music video "Free":

NRT Fashions: DROP DEAD F/W12
One of my favourite avant-garde Calgary designers, Nicole Rita Tomney (NRT Fashions) will be showcasing her newest F/W12  fashion called Drop Dead at Sociale (Grand Theatre Junction) Friday February 3rd. I can't wait to see what Nicole will bring us in her latest collection. I bet it is Drop Dead AWESOME. :) You can still buy tickets (last night) to her fashion show -->
